What Went Well
I sketched up an idea for a logo based on logos that already exist and used those as inspiration for my own logo. I think that I got the style correct of the logo that I was going for and the logo I was inspired by because of the simplicity of it and the effectiveness of it. I also effectively used the pen tool to precisely draw out on illustrator what I had previously drawn on paper, Once I had done that, I used a different range of colours and effects to experiment how my logo looks in different ways; colours that I used included red, blue yellow and black. Effects I used included fish-eye lens, glass, fader and multi colours.
Even Better If
The logo could've been even better if I had tried out other effects and processes as well, as it could've widened my experimentation with it. Also, I could've played around with more tools that were available to see what could make the logo stand out and also what would make the logo less effective so that I had a better idea of what my final outcome will be like. I could have also smoothed down some details on the logo that may not look too good at the moment.
